here I have painted  a red colour over my letter

and then I have changed the effect of the image to multiply so the colour overlay would only effect the letter
the outcome of this did not go expectedly but I was very helpful with the outcome

here is my final piece. I love the outcome because it looks gothic and modern at the same time that is what I love about it I think this final piece show more of my skill and shows that I am still learning

I think each letter came out good I think it looks good and the detail is still there. it is a good thing because I wanted to see the detail and the modern side of the letters

 

proposal

The project is about Pop Art and the brief is to produce a graphical piece of work

I intend to create a pop art style piece in Photoshop and my theme is based on 'Words'.

I chose this theme because I was inspired by my research, my research was on pop art, I noticed that not much Pop Art work had words involved in their piece and so i decided to do my final piece using words.

I will need to bring my wooden letters from home to photograph them and edit them in Photoshop for my background. I am going to use a black background to make the bright colours stand out.

I will use the lights to produce various shades of light to see different colours that will show up. I will also try using different ISO setting to see how the outcome will be. I will do this by switching some of the light switches off to darken the light 

I think the photos will take me 1 hour to an hour and a half to take them depending on the conditions I will use the ISO 100 so I can get more detail on my final images that I will take I will take 10 images of each shape and choose the best images out of the images.

I will take in the total of 60 imaged if not 40 I will ten make them into a contact sheet and then choose the best.

i have reserched into pop art and i have looked at these images to inspire me to make my own pop ar image 

i chose this picture because i like the colours and i like the style it looks like anime 

i chose this imaage becaus i like the image of a cola can and I love cococola

i chose this image because it is very groovy and I like that you can still see all of the detail that is in the mask I also like that there is also more then one colour in the pop art segments

I chose this because it is pickachu and  I love him and he is one of my favourite pokemon thunder types I also like the different colours and that s/he has kept one of them is the original colour

I do not like image IMGP3832 because of the lighting  is too dark and I can not see the detail on the letter
I like image number IMGP3840because it has more detail and I can clearly see the letter
i like image number IMGP3841 because it is light and not too dark and you can see the detail on the letter 

 I have used ISO 200 because a low ISO means more light can be took into the lense

I do not like IMGP3643 because there is too much light and it is reflecting on the letter

the features of pop art are bright and colourfull and thick black outlines some consists of four pictures or more  it is usualy diffrent hues of colours and some are realistic and

i would this what constants pop art today would be wifi, laptop , xbox, 3ds, playstation, tablet and high tech phones

i think they where crated by press mechines , or hand painted, stencils, spay paint, ink, screen printing, crating slick and mechine produced, stamps 

•      What/where could a pop-art image be used?
i think it could be used in advertising and i think it could be used for labaling products I would use pop art for advertising purposes for food and drink I have also I have seen it used for reality TV shows

i think a rely fancy laptop would be nice to see it use pop art or a drawing peice of technologhy i thin fizzy pop would be good to keep on using thin style of art
